1 Corinthians 2:6-8:
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 
1 Corinthians 2:9-12  However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”10 but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 
1 John 3:8 The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 
Matthew 12:28  But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 
 
Why The Holy Spirit?
His Kingdom is already but not yet.
His Kingdom is come and coming.
 
1 Corinthians  12:7-10 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues ,and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
 
Who can be used in the Gifts?
1.  Whoever is “Born of the Spirit.”  
 Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
 
Who can be used in the Gifts?
 2.  Whoever is  “willing.”
 1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts.
 
Who can be used in the Gifts?
3.  Whoever the  Holy Spirit “selects.”
 1 Corinthians 12:11 Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
